Lightwell Design is a boutique interior design studio founded by interior designer Carina Brezeanu.
Grounded in extensive commercial interior design experience and extended across residential and bespoke projects, Lightwell brings a considered, design-led approach to each commission — balancing aesthetics, function and material integrity.
Having grown up in Newcastle on the NSW east coast, Carina has spent the majority of her career working within established commercial practices in Sydney, delivering projects across workplace, hospitality and mixed-use environments. Lightwell was established as a natural evolution of this experience: a focused, values-led studio offering thoughtful, well-resolved design solutions.
At the core of Lightwell’s work is strong conceptual thinking and a clear understanding of how spaces are used, experienced and maintained over time. Each project begins with careful planning and is shaped by context and longevity — prioritising spaces that feel calm, purposeful and enduring rather than trend-driven.
With extensive experience navigating commercial constraints, stakeholder coordination and real-world delivery, Carina brings a pragmatic, architecturally oriented design sensibility to every brief. This allows Lightwell to support clients with confidence from early concept through documentation, construction and completion.
